Guided Tour of Native Plantings at Mounts Botanical Gardens-Friday

Attendees will take part in a discussion and tour of the native plants at Mounts Botanical Garden. This session will enhance their knowledge about native plants, their identification, uses, and proper siting. The tour will include the rain garden, which demonstrates how native plants can be used to decrease runoff and highlights species that can survive in wet areas, as well as a tour of the butterfly garden to discuss native nectar and larval plants. The tour will demonstrate the diversity and use of native plants and highlight the many rare and uncommon native plants growing on the Mounts Botanical Garden property.
