Naturalist, Environmental Advocate
Jenny Welch is a Florida native, Master Gardener and retired registered nurse whose passion for Real Florida was nurtured as a child visiting the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge near her hometown of Titusville. Jenny is a much loved uber-volunteer with FANN and our conservation partners, Florida Native Plant Society and Florida Wildflower Foundation, as well as an active volunteer leader with Audubon, the League of Women Voters, garden clubs and more. After several years of promoting conservation and greater use of native plants in rapidly developing Osceola County, Jenny and her family moved to rural Dixie County to get closer to the nature they love.
